Mobile Internet Devices at CES 2008

The next generation of mobile devices were showcased at the Intel booth at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2008) in Las Vegas. The devices, dubbed Mobile Internet Devices (MID), is an indication of the type of mobile devices that will become part of our daily lives within the next few months. You will see four of these MIDs in the video below.

I could not ascertain whether the first three of the devices in this video were running a mobile Linux OS - Android for example, but we can expect that the features shown in this video will be part of Android devices that will be released later this year. IntelĀ  is a member of the Open Handset Alliance.
